Surrey Informatics Summer School

How to use routine health data for quality improvement and research

 

The Surrey clinical Informatics Summer School is being held 9th to 14th July 2012 at University of Surrey.  The course is being organised by the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes research group; part of the Department of Health Care Management and Policy.  More information about the group can be found at their website: www.clininf.eu

The course is being held at the University of Surrey’s parkland campus – good quality accommodation is available a short walk from the new Surrey Sports Park for residential students.

The course runs for a full day with plenary taught sessions at the start and the end of the day; individual computer lab working in the second half of the morning and group scenario-based learning activities in the afternoon.  The course covers the range of skills needs to process routine health data.  The course is designed to meet the needs of an international audience.

The course fee includes the provision of refreshments during the course sessions, a welcome reception; course dinner and late lunch on the final day.
